Tiegan
Owner & Principal

Meet Tiegan.

Hi, I’m Tiegan, the owner and principal of Unity Performing Arts!

Performing has been a huge part of my life since I started Musical Theatre at the age of six. I went on to study Performing Arts at college, gaining a Distinction* in my Level 3 RSL Creative & Performing Arts Extended Diploma and a Distinction in my Level 4 Diploma for Creative Practitioners.

I’ve performed in productions including Grease, RENT, Our House, The Wedding Singer and the UK tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

I began running performing arts classes in Littlehampton in 2022. My favourite part is watching students grow — seeing a shy child speak up, watching someone nail something they’ve been working on, or seeing how proud they are after performing on stage.

I want students to feel comfortable, have fun and make friends, while knowing they don’t have to be the loudest, most confident or most experienced person in the room to belong at Unity.

Promise
Musical Theatre Assistant

Meet Promise.

I grew up loving all things song, dance and screen, and have spent the last two years studying Musical Theatre in Brighton, where I achieved a Distinction* in my Extended Diploma in Creative and Performing Arts.

The most challenging role I’ve ever played was Jesus in an all-female production of Jesus Christ Superstar, but my favourite has to be Eurydice in Hadestown. I’ve also performed in shows including Legally Blonde, Our House and Wonderland.

I’m now taking a gap year to continue developing my skills before continuing my training at drama school. The dream is to be on stage, but for now I’m so happy to be sharing my love of theatre with all the students at Unity!

LLouise · Unity Performing Arts
Safeguarding Lead & Mini Movers Assistant

Meet Louise.

Hi, I’m Lou!

I have over 15 years’ experience working in social care, supporting both children and adults with learning disabilities. My passion has always been helping people feel confident, included and able to be themselves.

At Unity Performing Arts, I’m proud to be the Safeguarding Lead, bringing my experience and knowledge to help ensure the wellbeing of all our students.

You’ll also find me assisting with our Mini Movers classes, where I love helping our youngest performers grow in confidence, develop their independence and, most importantly, have lots of fun!

Alongside my experience in social care, I’m trained in Safeguarding, First Aid and Mental Health First Aid.

I love being part of the Unity team and can’t wait for everything ahead!
